 Keen Kotoru (Keen Koe-toe-rue)Gender: Male Age: 18 Likes: Drawing, photography, daydreaming Dislikes: Large dogs, loud music Species: Human Bio: Keen Kotoru was a pretty average guy before he met Miyo. He isn't particularly althletic and only has average intelligence. About the only thing he's good at is his art. Keen is almost constantly daydreaming, making him prone to forgetfullness. Luckily his friends are there to make sure he doesn't hurt himself while not paying attention to what he's doing. He comes from a wealthy family, but chooses to live modestly. His only living relative is his great uncle. Personality: Keen is an all around nice guy. He enjoys being around his friends and helping out, but is mostly quiet and keeps to himself. Author Notes: *shakes Keen* I messed with your character design forever and you still ended up looking a lot like Largo from Megatokyo!
 Miyo (Mee-yoh)Gender: Female Age: 900+ Likes: Playing, sleeping, Keen Dislikes: Trucks Species: Fox (Myobu) Bio: Miyo is a little kitsune who was sealed away for many years for unknown reasons. She was then awakened by a strange woman with unknown intentions, only to find her once proud and powerful position as a nine-tailed spirit fox was stripped from her, leaving her with only two tails left. She lost most of her memories along with many of her magical abilities in the process, and is currently trying to find out the reason for her imprisonment. Personality: Because of her amnesia, very curious and a bit air-headed Author Notes: Miyo, Miyo, where do I start? I don't even remember how I got the idea for her crazy hair...I must have some sort of compulsion to draw crazy hair on my characters or something.
 Dion Yoli (Dee-en Yoh-lee)Gender: Male Age: 19 Likes: Mooching off of Keen Dislikes: His parents Species: Human Bio: Dion is a natural procrastinator and simply refuses to do things unless he has fun doing them. Unfortunately, he was born in an over-achieving family, explaining his dislike for his parents. His best friend, Keen, seems to be the only person who fully understands his strange habits. Personality:Quirky and energetic. Author Notes: Originaly, Dion was just going to be a minor character who would visit Keen from time to time. But then I decided that he had too great a personality to just do that. So now he's one of the main characters ^^
 Crystal Stander (Kris-tall Stan-der)Gender: Female Age: 17 Likes: Ice-cream, shopping, Keen Dislikes: Miyo Species: Human Bio: Crystal has known Keen for most of her life, and even has a bit of a crush on him. Unfortunately, Keen sees her as more of a little sister than anything else. She enjoys visiting new places and trying new things, and has a large group of friends. She currently has a part-time job as a waitress. Personality: Mostly fun-loving, but prone to violent outbursts Author Notes: Heh, Crystal is a fun character. She was probably the least planned-out character, but I think as the story progresses, she'll play a pretty important role.
 Dr. Shido (aka: Phobos, the creepy doctor)Gender: Male Age: ??? Likes: Mind games Dislikes: Mystery lady Species: ??? Bio: Miyo's strange doctor. Seems to strike fear into those who look him in the eye. Very little is known about this odd character... Personality: Well...creepy. Author Notes: At first, he was just going to be a one-time character. Now, he'll be showing up a lot in the story. More will be revealed about him later.
 ???Gender: Female Age: ??? Likes: ??? Dislikes: Phobos Species: ??? Bio: A mysterious woman who revived Miyo seemingly on a whim. Her identity and intentions are completely unknown. Personality: Seems friendly enough... Author Notes: *zips mouth shut*
 Kaze (Kah-zay) Kano Komoken (Kah-noh Koh-moh-ken)Gender: Male Age: Over 500 Likes: Attention, singing, music Dislikes: Being ignored and being tricked Species: Fox (Myobu) Bio: Kaze is a high ranking kitsune with five tails and something of a grudge against Miyo. He's very feminine in appearance and is often mistaken for a woman. He love getting attention and is easily flattered. He currently lives under the name of Kano Komoken, a quite popular pop-singer (Especially among teenage girls). Personality: Mischievous and somewhat narcissistic Author Notes: Kaze is probably one of my favorite characters ^^; He's fun to draw, and an easy character to work with story-wise.
 Robin ValentineGender: Female Age: 19 Likes: ??? Dislikes: All kitsune, especially Kaze Species: Human Bio: Robin Valentine once lived on farm with her father until a terrible accident left her with nothing but the thought of revenge in her heart. After Kaze killed her father and revealed himself as a kitsune, she trained herself for years in order to exact his punishment. While she shows some impressive skills, her abilities aren't exceptional and she is prone to running out of energy quickly. Personality: Emotionally unstable Author Notes: Yikes, I feel guilty coming up with this character. Her story is a sad one, is a happy ending even possible? Sigh.
 Ayame (A-yah-may)Gender: Female Age: Over 600 Likes: Having fun Dislikes: Being bored Species: Fox (Nogitsune) Bio: Ayame is a strange nogitsune who is somehow connected to Phobos. She can be quite pushy and often doesn't mind inconveniencing others in the pursuit of entertainment. What secrects does this foxy lady hide, and why is she so interested in Keen and Miyo? Personality: Pushy, very self-absorbed. Author Notes: I think Ayame was one of the first characters I created, and her design is the one that changed the most. Her original hair color was white, but was replaced because of Miyo's. I hadn't planned on her being a nogistune either. Huh.

 ??? (Mrow, Mya, and Myu)Genders: Female, female, male Age: ??? Likes: gossiping Dislikes: not being in the loop Species: Cats Bio: The kitties occasionally appear as a source of information. Albeit not very accurate. They love talking about the latest gossip, and their newest obsession is Keen's escapades. Personality: Catty (lol) Author Notes: In Fox Tails, many spirits are terrible gossips. But cat spirits are particularly bad at spreading rumors.
 ??? (Mr. Frog)Gender: Male Age: ??? Likes: ??? Dislikes: ??? Species: Frog Bio: Mr. Frog is the messenger of the River Prince. His job is to deliver invitations to guests and to man the ferry. Personality: Loyal Author Notes: Cute. Little. FROGGIE X3
 Prince Kawa (The River Prince)Gender: Male Age: ??? Likes: Throwing parties and forming alliances Dislikes: ??? Species: Catfish Bio: The River Prince lives in his palace in the river that runs through the park in town. He's always throwing feasts and celebrations, and has been known to jump at the opportunity to invite famous people. Personality: Flamboyant Author Notes: I designed this guy LONG before his chapter. I have no idea why.
 Makoto Takei (Mah-koh-toh Tah-kay)Gender: Male Age: ??? Likes: Japanese mythology Dislikes: Being abducted from his apartment and dragged to a river palace. Species: Human Bio: A victim of the River Prince. Yay. Personality: ??? Author Notes: Makoto Takei was designed by Dame Nogitsune, winner of the first Fox Tails contest~
 Kojika (Koh-jee-kah)Gender: Male Age: 7 Likes: Eclipse Dislikes: Bugs Species: Half-fox Bio: Kojika came to Keen to get back his father, who was kidnapped by Perry and Cheyenne. Has the ability to shapeshift into a fox, a rarity among half-foxes, especially at such a young age. Because of his looks and personality, Keen orginially mistook him for a little girl rather than a boy. Personality: Naive. Cries a lot. Author Notes: He's not really as girly as his concept sketches D: That kinda sucks.
 ??? (Kojika's dad)Gender: Male Age: 800+ Likes: Kojika, traveling Dislikes: Fighting Species: Kitsune (myobu) Bio: While visiting the city with Kojika, he was attacked and captured by Perry and Cheyenne. He was then forced to wear a collar with a seal on it that forced him into servitude, until Keen came to his rescue. Personality: Intelligent. Very protective. Author Notes: One of the earlier characters ever made...his design hasn't changed much at all.
 Cheyenne (Shai-anne)Gender: Male Age: ??? Likes: ??? Dislikes: ??? Species: Jackal Bio: A mercenary, partners with Perry. A strange duo, but have worked together for a long time. Neither seem interested in the havoc they cause, as lond as they get paid. Perry mostly speaks for him. Personality: Doesn't talk much...is it because he's shy or simply likes action more? Author Notes: ...Is Cheyenne a girl's name? >_>; Whatever.
 Perry (Peh-ree)Gender: Female Age: ??? Likes: Moneyz Dislikes: Being mistaken for a rabbit Species: Hare Bio: A mercenary, partners with Cheyenne. Unlike her partner, talks excessively. Only interested in money. She fights primarily with her legs and feet, and wears steel-toed boots. Personality: Talks enough for both her AND Cheyenne. Author Notes: Eh...accent...she's pretty fun, though XD
